While a guy named George was making marine buoys at his job working for Weber Brothers Metal Works, he came up with the idea of a dome-shaped grill. It was 1952, and at the time the idea of a covered grill was pretty revolutionary!
That first grill was called "George's Barbecue Kettle." Seven years later, George bought Weber Brothers and a new era of barbecuing was born.
Weber grills continued to innovate, using stainless steel construction, making Flavorizer® bars, and creating porcelain-enameled cooking grates. The first Genesis® grill was unveiled in 1985, followed by the Summit® series in the mid-1990s, and the portable Q® series in 2003. Over the years, Weber grills have become not just tools for cooking food, but grills that bring people together.
The Weber Genesis II series is built to gather family, friends, even the whole neighborhood, together. These grills are the newest addition to the Weber line, and we believe they're superior to every other grill in its class. Genesis II grills feature the latest in Weber technology, including the exclusive GS4 grilling system. Ranging in size from two to six stainless steel burners, there’s a Genesis II grill built for however many people you entertain.
The LX S models feature closed cabinets, whereas the E models offer an open cart design.
The lid, Flavorizer bars, and cooking grates on the LX S models are stainless steel, while on the E models they are porcelain-enameled.
The Weber Spirit series is designed to get everyone involved in
gas grilling and help you taste the difference with a Weber grill. Spirit
grills come in two- and three-burner models and are the most accessible gas
grills in the Weber line. These grills are feature-rich and packed with top of
the line options.
Spirit SP models feature a stainless steel lid, while the Spirit E line comes with a porcelain-enameled lid.
The large, versatile Weber Summit series grills are the pinnacle
of grill performance, offering you the widest variety of grilling options. Summit
grills feature four to six burners, plus a side burner and rotisserie options.
If you’re looking for a large cooking area, elite grilling features, and the
ability to cook almost any food you can imagine, Summit series grills are for
you. The Summit line is also the only Weber line offered as a built-in or full
grill center. Simply put, the Summit series offers you the absolute best grilling experience on the planet.
Introduced in 2003, the Weber Q series grills changed the game when it came to portable grilling. They’re the perfect grills for tailgating or summer evenings at the ball diamond, yet a Weber Q can still cook an entire meal at home.
Weber Q grills feature tons of quality components, like stainless steel burners, porcelain-enameled, cast-iron cooking grates, electronic ignition, a cast aluminum lid and body, a glass-reinforced nylon frame, and infinite control burner valves.
Whether at home or on the go, tailgating or backyard barbecuing, do it with a Q!
The portable Weber Q Gas grills are available in four sizes. One of these, the Q 1200, also comes in myriad colors to match your favorite college team!
Weber Q Electric grills make things even easier for downtown living! Perfect for an apartment patio, the 1,560-watt Q Electric comes in two different sizes to ensure your dreams of an urban barbecue are no longer just wishful thinking!
Weber’s roots go back to George Stephen’s original, kettle-shaped design, so they’ve kept the Original Kettle series going strong as a modern version of the grill that started it all back in 1952. Coming in 18”, 22”, and 26” sizes, Original Kettle charcoal grills are affordable, durable options for the charcoal-grilling lover. Thanks to an aluminum ash catcher, rust-resistant damper, plated steel cooking grates, a porcelain-enameled bowl and lid, and one-touch cleaning system, Original Kettle grills are built to both out-perform and outlast other traditional models.
In addition to the Original Kettle Premium features, the Weber Master-Touch offers a Gourmet BBQ System™ hinged cooking grate, a Tuck-Away™ lid holder, and a warming rack.
